We would like to thank David at Barnaby Jones Funeral Care in Glossop for the outstanding care, compassion and professionalism he showed our family during one of the most difficult times in our lives.
David guided us through every step with kindness and patience. We will always be grateful for the support he showed to our family.
We are so happy we choose a family run independent funeral director rather than a corporate one as we feel we wouldn't of got the same service as we had with David.
We would wholeheartedly recommend David and everyone at BarnabyJones, and so thank you for making this experience so much easier to bear

I would like to thank David at Barnaby Jones Funeral Services for helping me to organise my dear wife's funeral. He was always kind, didn't forget the smallest detail and was a calming influence throughout. I felt at all times that David knew what was most important to me and took great care to realise it. He always had time for me, gave sound advice and kept every promise.

There truly aren't enough words to express how grateful we are for the care, compassion and kindness we received by Dave and his lovely wife while arranging my beautiful nephews funeral.
From the very beginning, we were treated with such incredible gentleness and respect during the most devastating time our family has ever faced. My nephew, Faelan, only 10 days old, was cared for with so much dignity, tenderness and love, and knowing that our precious boy was in such safe and caring hands meant more to us than we could ever put into words.
But the care didn't stop with Faelan. Our entire family was looked after every step of the way. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He was there for us day and night, every single day, whenever we needed him. Whether it was to answer a question, reassure us, help with arrangements, help with ideas as at times our minds were blank through grief or simply support us through moments that felt impossible. We never once felt like we were just another family or another funeral. We felt genuinely cared about.
On the day of Faelan's funeral, everything was handled beautifully and with so much thought, respect and compassion. During a day none of us ever imagined we would have to face, we were able to focus on saying goodbye to our beautiful boy because we knew everything else was being taken care of.
What has meant just as much to us is that the support from Dave didn't simply end once the funeral was over. He continued to check in and be there for our family afterwards, when he absolutely didn't have to. That kindness will stay with us forever.
You meet funeral directors on the worst days of your life, and you place someone incredibly precious into their care. We could not have asked for a kinder, more compassionate person to trust with our beautiful Faelan.
We will never be able to repay the kindness shown to Faelan and to our family, but we will never forget it either.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for looking after our boy and for carrying our family through the hardest thing we have ever had to endure.
We would recommend you without hesitation to any family needing someone they can truly trust during the most difficult time of their lives. You were absolutely incredible, and we will forever be grateful.

I cannot praise Barnaby Jones Funeral Services enough. David was such a blessing. He collected and looked after mum until her have funeral. Mum had the service she deserved.
He even called me after the service to check we as a family, where ok. Highly recommended if you want a warm, kind reception. Happy to talk to you when ever i needed. Thank you Barnaby Jones, for caring for my loved one.

David supported me and my family when my grandad passed away at home, and we will always be grateful for his kindness and compassion during such a difficult time. He was incredibly patient, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process.
David helped to arrange my grandad’s funeral, and it was absolutely perfect, a truly fitting send-off that my grandad deserved. His empathy, professionalism, and kindness were second to none.
